Connect Auron to Wi-Fi

• Auron powered on and within Wi-Fi range
• A phone, tablet, or computer that can join Wi-Fi networks
• The target Wi-Fi network name and password
• Setup network name: Robot-Setup
• Setup network password: robotsetup123

When Auron is not connected to Wi-Fi, it starts a temporary network named Robot-Setup. Join this network from the device you will use for setup.

   Power on Auron

   Wait for the robot to finish booting, then look for Robot-Setup in your Wi-Fi list.

   Join Robot-Setup

   Connect your phone, tablet, or computer to Robot-Setup with the password robotsetup123.

   Open the setup page

   Open http://192.168.4.1/setup/wifi in a browser and wait for Auron to scan nearby Wi-Fi networks.

   Wait for the network list

   Auron hides the setup network and shows nearby Wi-Fi networks it can join.

   Choose the target network

   Select the Wi-Fi network Auron should use after setup.

   Enter the password

   Type the Wi-Fi password. Use Show if you need to check it before submitting.

   Connect Auron

   Click Connect WiFi to save the selected network and password on Auron.

After you click Connect WiFi, the setup page shows that settings are being applied. Robot-Setup may disconnect while Auron joins the selected Wi-Fi network.

   Wait for settings to apply

   Leave the setup page open until the applying message appears.

   Reconnect your device

   If your device disconnects, join the same Wi-Fi network you selected for Auron.

   Continue to dashboard pairing

   Once Auron is on the target Wi-Fi, continue to dashboard pairing.

• If Robot-Setup does not appear, give Auron more time to boot and confirm it is not already connected to another Wi-Fi network.
• If scanning fails, click Retry Scan or refresh http://192.168.4.1/setup/wifi while still connected to Robot-Setup.
• If your target network is missing, move Auron closer to the router, then refresh the network list.
• If the password is wrong, reconnect to Robot-Setup, reopen http://192.168.4.1/setup/wifi, and enter the password again.
• If the browser disconnects after clicking Connect WiFi, this is expected during the network transition. Reconnect your setup device to the target Wi-Fi and continue.
